Here I go again....
I am back as promised, but not as early as expected. The TimeKillers got together for our Wailing Caverns excursion last night. We were doing ok, until Mike had to leave. Near the end of the dungeon, we wiped, and everything started to repopping. Noone felt like going through. So once again, I was unable to get the Gem of Serpentis. Sigh, oh well, guess we will do it again.
I came into work to find that I will not be going to Charlotte this weekend. The feelings arent so mixed this time, I am glad I dont have to go. Everything is sooo boring right now, and I am sure next week once we start the implementation, we will be so busy I can't stand it. Its really annoying its been this way since the project started, they make us sit around with nothing to do, and then they yell and freakout when its time to work, because we have a deadline. I guess its just the way the Federal Government works, probably why things are so screwed up.
I think I finally have enough money to get my car worked on although, it still may be a couple of months before I am finished paying for it. I have to put a new engine in my car, because a couple of months after I moved here, the waterpump went out on my car, on my way to work. This caused the engine temperature to rise dramatically, I was closer to work than I was to home, so I pulled over and waited for it to cool. After about twenty minutes, it had cooled somewhat , so I tried again. Unfortunately the temperature went right back up. At this point I have a choice to make....I can do the sensible thing and pull off to the side of the road and figure out what to do....of course I just started this job, and I am still nervous about whats going to happen if I dont show up for work, and I have no clue where I am, I have no cell phone, and I am still about te miles from work....Or I can try to make it to work and hopefully my engine won't blow up before I get there. Well I chose door number two, and about two or three miles from work the engine threw in the towel, so since about mid November I havent had a car of my own. I am a little nervous about paying Two Thousand Four Hundred dollars to get it fixed, but I just finished paying for it. Not to mention the mechanic has had it since the day it broke down, I am not sure what he would say if I tried to say "Well I decided I am not gonna get it fixed now", I think that would be a pretty crappy thing for me to do. So maybe not the best decision, but its the one I am going with.
Anyway I am at home gonna play some WoW and see if I can't get a hold of Todd. Till next time......
